Say “Hello” to Healthy and Flawless Skin with These Natural Remedies
“Do you want to keep your dry/oily/combination skin healthy? Yes? Then, you must give this blog a good read.”
If you are a working man/woman, I’m pretty sure that you don’t get much time to look after your skin, isn’t it? And then, you end up spending a lot of money at the salon on chemical treatment and facials, right? Well personally, I don’t prefer going to the salon; rather, I would happily splurge money on food! Now, the obvious question that must be lingering in your mind is how do I manage to take care of my skin, right? Well, I make the most of my weekends and take care of my skin and that too without using any “fairness cream” or “instant glow face pack”. I simply use natural ingredients that are easily available in my pantry. Yes, that’s right!
Trust me, there must be many magical ingredients in your kitchen that can help you take care of your skin and you wouldn’t have to spend a single penny on buying beauty care products. Wondering, what kinds of natural ingredients can you use to take care of your skin? Well, that totally depends on your skin type. I have a combination skin, so whatever I use, may not suit you. But, there’s nothing to worry because, in this post, I have jotted down beauty care tips for every skin type. So, just keep reading!
Flaky Dry Skin
The only boon of having dry skin is that your skin is going to stay pimple free. But, if you don’t maintain it well, you might end up having fine-lines, wrinkles and dark circles, sooner than you can even expect! So for that, you need to take immense care of it.
The natural ingredients that you can use to keep your dry skin healthy and glowing are:
-
Apply Milk Cream: What do you do with the layer that forms on the top of your milk’s container or bowl? Throw it? Well then, from now onwards, don’t throw it. Instead, apply it on your face, keep it for 10 minutes and then, wash it with water. It acts as a miracle moisturizer and prevents flakiness.
-
Apply Honey: Another ingredient that works as a moisturizer is honey. You can apply it all over your face or on the problem areas (too dry areas), leave it for 10min and wash off.
Follow this beauty care at home and believe me, you’ll see surprising results within a month or two.
Oily Skin
Are pimples your skin’s best buddy? Yes? Then, I’m sure you must be having oiling skin. You know what? The worst part about oily skin is that you suffer from acne issues. But in general, this skin type is said to be the best one because it ages gracefully. And yes, how can I forget? You don’t need to apply that extra stroke of highlighter too!
But, maintaining oily skin is pretty tough. However, don’t worry, here are some simple ways to maintain it; take a look.
-
Oatmeal + Honey: One of the best ways in which you can control the secretion of excess oil is by applying a mixture of oatmeal and honey. All you need to do is mix 1/2 cup of ground oats with hot water and form a paste. Then, add 1 tbsp of honey and stir it. After that, you’ll have to massage the paste onto your skin and leave it for about 3 mins; and then, rinse with warm water and pat dry. You’ll instantly feel that the oil on your face has reduced quite a lot!
-
Tomatoes: I’m sure that you include this particular fruit in almost every meal you prepare. So, how about using them on your face? This fruit contains salicylic acid, which doesn’t just absorb the excess skin oil and unclogs pores, but it’s a common remedy for acne as well. So, rub it on your face during your free time and wait for it to do magic to your skin.
Combination Skin
And finally, if you have a combination skin like me, then I would say that you are one of those men/women who face a tough challenge to maintain his/her skin. But at the same time, you are pretty lucky, as you don’t have to face too many problems regarding acne or flaky skin. However, if you want to keep your combination skin healthy and glowing, follow this easy yet effective solution:
-
Yogurt + Egg White: The combination of these 2 ingredients might sound bizarre, but trust me, it really keeps your skin healthy and supple. Add one egg white with 1 tbsp of yogurt and mix them well. Then, apply it on your skin (avoid eye and mouth area) and let it sit for 10-15 minutes and finally, rinse it with lukewarm water. That’s it; you’ll see an instant glow!
